Back to School with Birr 2026

Every child deserves the chance to walk into the classroom with confidence, ready to learn and dream.

For many families, however, the start of a new school year brings difficult choices between buying school supplies and meeting basic household needs. A simple school bag, a pair of shoes, a set of exercise books, or a school uniform can determine whether a child starts the term prepared, or falls behind before lessons even begin.

Back to School with Birr 2026 is BirrConnect's annual fundraising campaign dedicated to helping children from underserved communities begin the academic year with dignity. Donations will provide essential school items including books, uniforms, shoes, backpacks, stationery, and other learning materials to children who need them most.

Last year, thanks to the generosity of our community, we raised funds that enabled us to provide books to pupils at Dares Salam Public School. It was a small beginning, but one that reminded us of what is possible when people come together with a shared purpose.

This year, we want to do even more. Together, we can reach more children, equip more classrooms, and give more young learners the confidence to pursue their education without unnecessary barriers.
